What we collect and why
- Orders: your name, billing and delivery address, email, phone number (if you give it), what you bought and your order history. We need these to take payment, deliver your order and send credits and perks. The lawful basis is our contract with you.
- Payments: card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe collects payment and device information to process the payment and prevent fraud, under its own privacy policy.
- Enquiries and contact forms: your name, email and anything you write to us, so we can reply. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering you.
- Credits: the name you ask us to show in a film’s credits, which will be public once the film is released.
- Accounting: we keep order and payment records for six years because tax law requires it.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t send marketing emails unless you’ve asked for them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We only share what’s needed with the companies that help us run the shop: Stripe for payments, our website host and email provider, and Royal Mail or another courier for delivery. Some of these may process data outside the UK, with safeguards the law requires.
Cookies and third-party content
- Essential cookies keep your basket and checkout working and help Stripe stop fraud. They don’t need consent.
- Fonts on this site load from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google and shares your IP address.
- YouTube videos only load when you press play. After that YouTube may set its own cookies.
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records: six years. Enquiries: up to two years after we last hear from you, unless they lead to an order or project. Backer credit names: for as long as the film is distributed.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to limit it. Email us and we’ll reply within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
